How can I insulate a metal shed & hang pegboard inside?
I've just purchased a house that has a 10x10 metal shed in the corner. It does have a vent at the top, but I live in the New Orleans area and our summers can be brutal. I'd like to insulate the inside in such a way that I can overlay the insulation with something in order to put up peg board and tool racks, etc, to keep items off the floor. I want to put in a couple of cabinets/storage spaces as well as store my lawn mower out of the elements. I'm used to my old wood shed and I want to do this correctly. Thanks for any information you may have.

Best way would be to frame out the inside with 2X4's, insulate, and cover with plywood.
Hi i just added to my metal shed. we have had it three years and it is 9x12. no floor we added ply wood. no way to hang stuff, this past week i had enough of find the tools i had put it some of the metal ones but expensive and not practical. i got i inch x 10 wood i put one in my starting corner i cut it to fit tight from middle edge bar and from that down to wood floor. i then ran wood post down the center and another toward the other corner like the first. i took a larger piece of wood 4x 10 placed in about 4 inches from the wall
and drilled to to the floor. i drilled dry wall screws in the above ceiling that was another 1x10 that brought both ends together. made it sturdier. i used the floor board to be an anquor for the tall tools tools and the shorter ones so that nothing moved. peg board wood fit between the pieces of wood on the walls i added about four posts to made it sturdier and screwed into the wood top side middle bottom where ever they ran to gether. i did like the peg board handles and i placed several of them on the middle post going across to keep them in place yet flexable i took a 1x4 and screwed it on top of them they would hold tools if needed and serve as an extra way to keep tools from falling against others. i hope this helps.
