How do I cover an ugly cement front porch?

My front porch is open to weather because of wind blowing across it during rain or snow. It does have a roof, but no side walls. I would like to cover the ugly cement floor with a non slip surface, possibly paint. Any ideas to make it attractive and safe?

You can cover it with tiles, especially made for outdoor weather in your area. Insure they are skid resistant.
