Did you want to remove the concrete? If so, clean it all out and then you have a clean slate for patio stones, gravel, pavers etc.
You can stain it or both Home depot and lowes carry a garrage flor paint that is durable and come in many colors.

How about that outdoor carpeting that looks like plastic grass.....it can be hosed off and will cover the cement?
You really need to fix the problem first. It's cracking for a reason. Most likely when the snow melts, the water seeps under the cement. When it refreezes (like at night), the ice expands and causes small cracks until you end up with the kind of cracks you have now. It appears to be a low area, so you need to address the drainage. Maybe you can build it up or at least slope it more so it drains. You should probably talk to a mason to get it fixed properly.
