How to paint over paint spills from previous paint on a concrete floor

Janet Pizaro on Oct 13, 2015from what I have researched it will be best to use a stripper on the existing paint .You can try a concrete and masonary bonding primer first if you decide not to remove the stains.Make sure you use an epoxy paint on the floor it should last longer.Helpful Reply

Z on Oct 13, 2015Not seeing the extent of the spills, I can only guess, but I have had excellent results with steam removing paint from wood and vinyl siding. You do have to scrape or brush off the paint after steaming though.Helpful Reply
