I am wanting to vamp up my mail box and decorate the front yard?
We share a pole with two of our neighbors for mailboxes. I am needing to repaint (what kind of paint?) and I’d like to redecorate that area. We live in the country, and there is no water around for plants. They sit 1/4 mile down a circle dirt road/joint driveway. Any creative ideas?

Rustolium is the best paint plus if you want should be creative you can tape off certain sections and make a design or something with different colored paint you can even use glow-in-the-dark paint from Rust-Oleum so you can see in the dark
It sounds like you live in a dry area, perhaps some plants under the boxes that do not require a lot of water and also some mulch could help. Otherwise, here are some other ideas: https://www.hometalk.com/diy/paint/furniture/stenciled-mailbox-makeover-1204543
Perhaps you could all agree on a theme, any theme, but here is one idea:

Stenciled Mailbox Makeover
Mailbox Makeover
For the base you can put down a piece of landscape fabric and make a wood border. Fill it in with red mulch or river rock.
IMHO to do something individualistic to your mailbox would call attention to it, and maybe resentment from "sharers" It also might invite damage.
