I need help with screened porch decor!
I have 2 swing chairs and a sectional on our screened porch. (Pics included) idk if I have it placed wrong or if I need to rearrange the furniture or the swings but it doesn’t look cozy to me! The tv is on the wall opposite the sectional

Maybe a larger rug that goes under the swings too
I agree with a larger rug that stands out a bit but other than that I'd do some rearranging, maybe try couch where chair an plant r an hav hanging chairs where couch is and flowered plant raised up on a schmedium size plant stand. My thoughts anyway. 😊
I would just tighten it all up a bit. Drag the existing rug to the center of the room, to unite the pieces, if you don't want to purchase a larger one. The furniture doesn't all need to be on the rug. Then I would move the coffee table slightly more to center as well. I would also move the plant behind the couch next to the other plant between the swings.
Add some soft colors and I think it will nail the look. It’s a nice space.
Maybe add some bright color accent with some plant pots, and drink tray and colorful glasses.
Hi! I've found moving furniture away from the walls, and creating "conversation areas" makes all the difference!
It will be helpful to see perspective of this room vs corners to be able to help out
I think you need to pick a focal point and build from there. Sometimes less is more.
Get a LARGE rug... the new, indoor/outdoor grass rugs. With a very subtle pattern. NO color. Then, Move the hanging chairs by the sunscreen. Closer together, With that small, round, basket with lid, between the 2, as a table. That will tighten it up. And open the door area, making it more Inviting. It will also keep the dark furniture together. And keep your sectional furniture matching. The sectional can then be put where they WERE. Now, In that corner, To the left of the TV, fill it with your colorful, Potted Plants, Tall & Short, even those tall candles on the table under the TV. Place them on the floor to. Hiding the window. The TV has to be hung FLAT Against that wall, it looks like it's at a slant. Maybe lower it a tad. Center it. But make it just a little higher than COMPLETELY centered. I'd remove the table under it, ALTOGETHER. Too many things going on for the eye to focus on. So you can JUST watch the Show/Movie. ALSO, Spray paint the white chain on your chairs, to match the color of them. You'll be surprised how much you'll like it. LOVE this room! It's AWESOME!
I think a larger rug would do the trick. Your swings are in a good spot. Actually I like the room. I would add some color into the room with the new rug.
YES, across from the TV on the far wall, looking out to the pool. They can be hung close to one another, with enough space between the 2 for the basket as an accent table. The sectional looks like 5 pieces? Stretch it out, to 4 pieces going along the windows, where the swings & plant were. (if it's feasible).
You can try complementing your space with a much larger rug. Since the room is already looking great. Enough lights will also enhance and make it look better.
