The ground from my house to the main back yard is sloped. I want to raise an area 30ft x 12 ft. Need to know the process and supplies.

You'll need a lot of dirt to build it up. Just remember that you should always have a slight slope away from your house. You'll also need to build a retaining wall. Garden blocks look very nice and can be glued together to make a solid wall if you use PL Premium. You'll have to build steps into the hill too. After you have a flat surface to work with, you could put down patio pavers for a nice size patio.

Have you considered a deck? A relative had a slope like your picture, it was the fastest, easiest solution. Not fancy, just basic pressure treated wood.

You could use anything to make a small tier to accommodate the patio you want to build. I had a small garden around my lamp post in the front yard. We used treated 4x4's and built it up to nearly level (We have three steep tiers in our yard with the first being what the house is built on). We sunk the first one on top so as to not raise the level of the top, but give the front and sides a start. It took more for the sides and front, of course. It worked out really well. Mine of course was for a garden, so you will have to put down pavers, cement or something to give you a stable floor.

Keep the slope and build a deck. The slope drains water away from the home preventing any basement/crawl space migration.

A deck is a great solution but if budget is a concern, you could make square tiles using pallets, sand them and paint with a paint made for decking. Each pallet square would be about 3 feet by 3 feet. Then move the existing soil around, surface with a pickup load of sand. Place you patio squares down. Years ago I did this to make a huge safe and clean patio for my babies to play on. It worked very well.
