I would like to replace my porch with a new deck. How do I do that?

Would prefer to use trekk or veranda decking to prolong life and reduce maintainence of deck. What do I use for the base and posts?

First, check with your county, state, city codes. Some places limit amount of hard surfaces to grass. In my area, decks are a hard surface.
Where I live, I was told that any vinyl or composite needs a wooden base (joists) like the one you wood put under a wood deck.
For that reason, we went with pavers, since I wanted to avoid wood rot again.
