Have you tried a stronger glue? Gorilla Glue or Construction adhesive should do it.

Clean thoroughly and then wipe with alcohol if you are using stick on numbers.

If you are painting them on, etch the plastic a bit first.

Either method, use a sealer once the numbers are applied and dry.

Start with cleaning the surface where you are going to put the numbers with hot soapy water and scrub it, blue dawn dish soap works well, you may even want to scrub with a soft bristled brush. Rinse with clear water and let dry. You might even wipe the area after cleaning with rubbing alcohol to remove any residuals. If there is a rough or irregular surface where you want to place the numbers, it means less area to stick them to. I agree with the others, use E6000 glue or Gorilla Glue. Or if you have a steady hand, paint on the numbers using a stencil.

Hello. Do you know anybody with a vinyl cutter like a Cricut. There are permanent vinyl adhesive products that they could cut your custom numbers out of. It would be very easy and inexpensive to do.

    Gorilla Glue may work

  • A small tube of construction adhesive should fix that problem for you. Make sure you chose one that's rated for outdoors.
