Patio makeover, please help!
We want to paint our patio but we don't know how to do it. Does anybody have a suggestion on how to paint it that would last long? Do we need to seal it? We live in Florida, so we always get sunshine here.

There are cement paints available in a range of color. As far as sealing the patio it is probably a good idea because of the extreme heat, Ask a professional at a home improvement store.

Sherwin Williams and the big box stores like Lowes and Home Depot have paint made for concrete. You can brush it etc to make a pattern or just texture. Check about sealing..

You can use concrete paint, and you should follow up with a sealer. You may also want to add a little sand to the paint, so it doesn't get slippery when wet. If you wish to create a pretty pattern on your patio, you can use a stencil. Check out what this blogger did: http://goo.gl/RDJtj6
