Privacy for a fully sreened in lanai

With exception of one section between the house and exterior column, everything is screened in. Pool toward back; sitting area toward house. I desperately need suggestions for freestanding sectional privacy screens or other, not involving plants that the wind blows into the pool and that do not have to be anchored to the struts the screens are attached to. I live in Florida; houses left and right are about 7 feet away; live plant material will eventually fall into the pool; hubby very handy with lots of tools.

Here is my solution to the problem. I anchored closet doors which I painted to the posts.

Why do they need to be freestanding? More information and photos would be helpful. Could you not attach curtains made of outdoor fabric, that could be tied back when not needed? Since your hubby is handy, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to build a freestanding folding screen to fit your needs. Search online for DIY ideas/plans.
