What is better, pavers or concrete for a patio area?

I would like a nice patio are in my back yard, Trying to do the least expensive . I just want a nice place to set my table and swing and have a privacy wall so nobody can see from the driveway. I have a huge oak tree right there too and was thinking of a way to build up around it for a flower bed. So many ideals but so little time and money. Thank you.

I like the look of pavers/bricks/stone, but you will need to resign yourself to doing a fair amount of weeding. You can often get bricks for free on Craigs List or by visiting a site where a building is being torn down. Concrete is less labor intensive, but is pricey.
concrete is labor intensive as are pavers however concrete will cost less and you can make to look like stones with moulds and cement coloring.
Look for sale on pavers it's better in the eyes and less expensive. If swing is for children you can section off the swing with edgers then fill with sand so no one gets hurt. For privacy, I bought those wooden trellis' and treated it then I bought four wooden posts from nursery (they're pretty cheap, too), treated them, sawed off the points, dug holes to secure them, poured cement (small bag is cheap), let cement dry then fill it with soil and viola!
