Green stuff is mold or algae. Power washing helps. Wet and Forget is popular. I have never used it myself as it is very hot and dry where I live.

Home stores sell a product that you connect to a hose. You spray it on, then rinse off. If it is a one story house, bleach and a long handled scrub brush will take it off. Power washing also works.
Lemon dish liquid, hot water, microfiber cloths or sponges and scrub. Rinse siding and cloths after each section in a seapate pail of water, or with hose on high power to avoid cross contamination between sections. Dry completely with another microfiber cloth. Don't force water under siding sections, or you'll invite rot.
