What to do with clothesline when creating a nice backyard space?
We've had farm animals for years so the backyard has always been farmyard. In the last few years, I've been trying to reclaim a portion of the space by the house and have a patio, walkways, and gardens. I have a clothesline in this space now and I can't really take it down. We use it all the time. How do I incorporate a clothesline into a pretty space?

You can always get the retractable kind. Pull it out when you need it; it retracts when you don't. My mother hid her clothline poles under honeysuckle at one house, wisteria at another. Or, you could have posts with solar lights or garden art. Hope you create a beautiful space!
We had an retractable clothes line. Loved it. Winter and spring it was hidden from sight and too cool and wet to line dry anyway.
