Where can I find advice for DIY plans to enclose our back patio?

We want to do this ourselves, with mostly screen and curtains and a divider running horizontally all the way around. I'm not sure on how to secure this to the existing patio cover and cement foundation.

It is not that hard to do but I keep reading "a divider running horizontally all the way around?" Not exactly sure what that means?
