be sure you don't place it if you have an open patio where rain and other elements can reach it - we did this on a screen porch and heat, humidity and mold destroyed the TV

Definitely place it on a wall that's under an deep overhang of some sort since that will help eliminate glare and protect it from the elements. I would also go with one made for the outdoors. The reps at the store should be able to give you the best tips about placement.
I found this very helpful. https://www.cnet.com/tech/home-entertainment/can-i-use-an-indoor-tv-outside/
Is it enclosed? I would suggest on a wall, preferably one that won't show a glare/reflections.
Place it on a wall where it will not be impacted by the weather ( back wall of the patio), arrange seating or have shades to prevent glare.
Put it under an enclosure
Without a photo, in general I would say where it is most protected and on a wall of the house.
Where are the electrical outlets located closest to the patio?
As it is not safe to have dangling, or on-ground extension chords, I would say that unless you are planning to hire an electrician to run additional electrical lines to the desired location, where the wall outlets exist now would be the determinant of where to position the television.
Hi! A covered area, electrical supply and a wall mount would be my must haves. My daughter has one on her covered patio, on an inside wall. Good luck!
You will want it some place where sun will not shine on the screen and where it is protected from the weather.
I would hang on a wall that has the best cover from the weather.
I would put it on the house away from water on a mount
Make sure it’s out of the elements. Lots of restaurants by me build boxes that enclose them with a hinged door.
