Painting the inside of your kitchen cabinets can add a beautiful finish to your cabinets! I generally only paint the inside of Kitchen cabinets if they are open or if they have glass doors then the inside of the cabinets need to be painted.
For this project, I used Dixie Belle's Cotton (this is Dixie's Bells white) to paint the inside of this open shelving.
You will need a 2" chip brush. You can purchase these at your local hardware store or wal-mart!
To begin, start painting in a corner and work your way out. Apply thin even coats of paint. Nothing too thick. Try to feather the paint out lightly so you do not see any brush marks. You want to add 2-3 coats of paint until you can not see the original finish. The Inside of this cabinet took about 3 coats of Dixie Belle's Cotton.
Applying paint to inside of Cabinet
Seal the inside of your cabinet shelving with clear finish wax or a waterbed poly. I like General Finishes waterbased High Performance Top Coat in Satin. It seals well and is very durable! Apply 2 coats of clear finishing wax or 2 coats of of General Finishes High Performance Top Coat. This will seal your project.

Once your project is completely sealed you can add cute baskets! This is the fun part! Decorating! I picked up these square modern baskets at Target. And they fit our space perfectly!
