I got this awesome sample of Country Chic paints to try out. They are clay based and create the most amazing rustic look. I wanted to try them out on this old plastic keurig pod storage container that I've had for years.
So here are the raw materials
Plastic keurig pod storage container, large paint brush, small paint brush, pencil, Country Chic all-in-one decor paint in vanilla frosting and elegance.
Step one was painting the storage rack. I used the vanilla frosting and applied two coats. The paint went on beautifully and dried much quicker than I expected.
Next, I drew the outline of the image I wanted to paint with a pencil. The amazing thing about this paint was that I made some mistakes and needed to erase some marks and the paint held up flawlessly!
Next, I used the elegance color to paint in the outline.
So here is the final product! I love how it turned out and really enjoyed using the Country Chic paint.
Another angle, feel free to try something like this on your own! Enjoy!
