Not a good idea, ice and snow (if you have that kind of weather) would peal, or heat from sun. Maybe stain would be better. Also ice on paint would be slick!
I don't think garage floor paint has built in ultraviolet protection to be used outdoors.
which would mean it would not hold up? i used it on my concrete sidewalk and porch floor ..concrete also got up to over 100 degrees here in st.lous,mo. held up good
Yes, It works well in Arizona. We have five houses, four of which are rented for our business of 24/7 residences for disabled individuals. We have so far painted, garage floors, walks and drives on two of these and will likely do all if owner permission is obtained.
Sweep the surface clean. I use a strong detergent mixed with a little muriatic acid and water to prepare the surface. The pool acid should should be about 10% of the mop bucket volume of liquid.
Protect hands, eyes, feet with proper gear.
Let dry for eight hours for foot traffic. Wait 24 hours for vehicle.
I have painted floors, walks, porches and drives with BEHR (1-part epoxy) Concrete and Floor paint. No problems. Home Depot sells it premixed or as a white tint base.
thanks
