Are you staining the other stone as well? If you're keeping it, I'd pull a house color from that to tie it all together. A greige tone would be nice.
Ali, you'll first need to find out if your brick has been sealed. To test this pour a cup of water on the area and see if it absorbs into the brick. If it does, then you'll be able to stain fairly easily. Keep in mind the variations in color of your current brick will probably carry through with any color stain you choose to add. Test the colors you select on some scrap brick to ensure you likke the result before starting to stain the entire area.
here is info for you and as far as the color, it depends on the trim color, etc you could do a creamy white, beige, tan etc
Do you want to lighten or darken the house? When in doubt a white wash would work. Using that would keep you from making a color commitment but still give the house a fresh and modern looks.

Not so sure staining the brick is your answer, have you considered painting the garage door and trim? Add some beautiful color come spring with large pots and flowers.
Hello. That’s a huge decision. Please have a look at this bloggers break refurbishment. I might offer some idea…Or help exclude this option.

That's a very personal choice. I would google different house looks on images or Pinterest and see what you're gut is drawn to...and then move in that direction. That said, whitewashed brick is super popular right now. It's a very elegant/ classic look.
I have had excellent results with painting exterior brick.

Are you thinking of staining the brick or the window frames and soffiting? A lovely tan like one of the colours in your brick would be nice.
