Power washing would help remove any dust, dirt and stuff on the surface that would effect how the paint job ends up looking... all it would cost is

water, soap and elbow grease (plus the cost of the machine rental..if you don't have one) but you would have a clean mobile home with a great paint job.. after you are all done.

YES. We just hosed off & then painted 2 walls on a metal shed & whatever wasn’t hosed off bled through the paint & peeled in some places.

You don't need a pressure washer, but definitely a good scrub with soap and water. If there is mold or mildew in any area spray it with a mixture of bleach and water to kill it. Pay attention to grime in seams and around windows. If that isn't removed the paint will start to peel there. A light sanding with a fine grit sandpaper would help the paint stick too. Proper preparation is the most important part of a good paint job.
