  • Cool! Needs to be cleaned really well. Then must be bone dry. Use a paint specifically formulated for concrete. Let dry well between coats and pray for no wind during the process. ☺ Then you will be patio party ready! 🎉

Using Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan is an effective and easy solution. To find the retailer closest to you, go to http://www.unfolded.com/find-stockist/. Unlike latex or commercial paints, Chalk Paint® has no odor, dries quickly and because it's 100% water based it will absorb quickly into a medium like concrete. Because the paint is creamy and very porous, thinning with water, about 30-40% before using on concrete will extend the paint and give you the best coverage. Use a lightly damp foam roller for applying the paint. Here is an example of a driveway in front of a store in Tampa, Florida --hope this helps!
