I have a screened/walled in patio with a Koi pond. The floor gets moldy which is not only unattractive but unhealthy! I would like to paint a design, such as a rug, which would not be toxic to the fish when it rains but also help with the mold which you can see towards the front of the photo! Thanks so much for all of your wonderful advice!

Try putting down Expoxy flooring. It is another DIY project. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=14&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjA2-WtjL3cAhUBP6wKHVjcCRsQFgiXATAN&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.garagecoatings.com%2Fcategories%2Fepoxy-flooring-epoxy-floor-coating.asp&usg=AOvVaw0aLD7rDCM38BruFQCM-9p1
Home Depot Carries concrete paint for outdoors. I paint outdoor walkways at my office building with it. There are a few colors , so I'm sure you could get creative with it,to paint the rug.
