How to best paint lattice fencing?

I have lattice fencing around my whole back yard. I would like to stain it a dark mahogany color. Any suggestions for how to best do it (e.g., roll it, spray it)? Any suggestions for a paint sprayer, if used?

What type of lattice do you have? Vinyl? Wood? What color is it now?
IF you do it with a brush it will take forever... So spraying it would go much faster

Use a wood preserving stain for garden fences and a Sprayer. Hang behind a DROP CLOTH behind each panel if the over spray might damage something behind!
