Charming Writing Desk Chair

1 Material
Found this little ornate chair at Goodwill.
I first did an image search to find out any info on the chair -age, style. I do not normally touch finish, but it needed to match my Writing Desk.
I removed seat and layers or old material, foam was not reused.
I sanded the chair lightly by hand, not all of the original was removed as I knew it would keep the "old" charm.
Staining process. Then 2 coats of polyurethane.
I then purchased 1/2 yard of upholstery fabric, new foam cushion, and attached with upholstery staples.
Lace and ruffle were hand sewn to chair. Time to write a letter to mom.
Enjoyed the project?
