I took a Facebook for sale site $5 children's table and turned it into a magical place to sit with Unicorn SPiT!
Found this beauty on a for sale site. It was love at first site!
I first sanded the seats and top, then primed and sprayed the legs.
Next I got out my bottles of Unicorn SPiT : Gel stain and glaze.
I squirted/doted random spots of Zia Teal, Purple Hill Majesty, and White Ning on one of the seats, then sprayed a bit of water on the random spots. Next I put a piece of saran wrap over the top of the seat and sprayed a little water on the saran wrap (this helps make your hand glide over the top easier). I then used the palm and sides of my hand to move the SPiT around that was under the saran wrap. After I was happy with where the SPiT was I gently lifted all four corners of the saran wrap off of the seat. You can find this technique by searching Youtube and typing in "Unicorn SPiT stain press technique".
Another seat with the same technique...
I did the top by brushing the spit on with a side to side motion. I then added a perfect quote and some colorful kids :).
The result!

Did it make peaks on the seats when you pulled up the Saran wrap? It turned out beautifully.
