Farmhouse Glam Table Makeover

I scored this table at a yard sale and it was in great shape. I know, I know that it doesn't need a makeover but sometimes I just can't resist. In a world of brown, why not add a little color or glam or anything more personal or unique? This table is getting a little more icon
In the 'before' stage this table has a planked style top and round chunky farmhouse style legs. Even the hardware is really nice. But I don't need another brown table. Soooooo
The top is sanded down using my orbital sander to reveal great wood grain underneath. I definitely want to preserve this!
The top is given a farmhouse style stain using both a light and dark stain to really enhance the details of the wood grain. A metallic bronze is added along the outer trim of the table edge.
The chunky legs and base are painted in a neutral off-white. You can find great quality furniture paint HERE. The white is distressed for that farmhouse style bringing a bit more attention to the details.
The table has gone from basic brown to farmhouse glam. If you love the look of farmhouse painted furniture, particularly stain top and white base then make sure to check out this post: How to Get Farmhouse White Painted Furniture
