This table needed work, but nothing I can’t handle!
So I found this really cool 2tier scolloped table at an Antique store that was closing, it was in rough shape, had pieces missing, (which I forgot to take picture of) water spots, as you can see, and it was very wabblie!
So I got it home, cleaned it up, repaired the broken missing pieces
(which are un-noticeable)!
I also had to repair the legs as well, I decided I was going to paint and distress it! I know some people frown on painting vintage pieces, but because I don’t have a hand sander yet (on my wish list) I had to paint it.
So I painted it, gave it a few coats (let dry in between coats)because it was a dark color, I had to put about 4 coats on it! I wanted to make sure it covered well.

After it was all dry ( I gave it 24 hrs)
I did a light distress, then I used a wax salve on it for a finished touch!
and here this!!! Wonderful!!!

Your finished piece looks so crisp & clean, very nice. If the hand sander is still on your wish list, I suggest a multi-purpose oscillating tool with a sander head (many include the sander head & a couple blades included). I couldn't live without mine!

How did you address the wobble? I have an old table given to me and it too is wobbly. I know paint will not fix my wobbly table.
What about the wobble? How did you fix it? Love your final look!
