Image Transfer Onto Vanity Bench

This bench was my Mother In Law's when she was a little girl in Ohio. I had every intention of covering it in a beautiful new upholstery fabric...
but when I peeled off all the old layers, I decided the wood would look awesome slicked up with a graphic on it!
There was some blue ink on the wood, but it sanded off pretty easily.
Then I found a bicycle graphic on Graphics Fairy that I loved and printed it on to the waxy side of some freezer paper.
Using the back of a spoon, I rubbed it on very firmly, careful not to let the paper move.
When I slowly lifted the paper, it was perfect!
I put a coat of polyurethane on top and it has held up beautifully since I did this over a year ago.

Thank you! Cannot wait to try it. I have been using carbon paper, but it tends to leave black marks where you do not want it to, it's weird. This sounds so much more promising.
