How to Faux Finish a FARMHOUSE Table Top in Minutes, Tips and Tricks!

5 Materials
Check out this amazing tip to help you acheive a multi color and layered paint finish in minutes, using our Liquid Waxes and the incredible TRUE APPLICATOR SPONGE. Check out what we do to create this finish in under a minute!
See how we created this finish, using simple household items and our True Applicator.
We used paper clasps to clip 6 of the True Applicator Sponges to a wooden yard stick, creating a row of applicators mounted onto the stick.
Using the Liquid Wax in 4 colors, Dark Umber, Jet Black, White Lime and Muddy Pond, we simply applied a variety of wax to each applicator. Using a spray bottle, we misted the applicators to help spread the wax.
On the table top, repainted with our chalk paint color Repose, as warm gray tone. We began to drag the stick and sponges across the surface in a linear motion. Being careful to keep the lines straight. We continued to drag the sponge stick over the surface until the desired affect was acheived.
This is the final result and took about 5 minutes to accomplish. View the vidoe in real time ! Hope you love this as much as we do!!

I know, I’m commenting years later from your original post. I am, hoping you can, help me with a question, about a fake wood table top? The entire table is very dark, nearly black. It is drab, making my tiny dining room look even tinier.

Is there, a product which you would recommend to lighten up the top, before attempting your technique, which btw, I love đź’• đź’•đź’•đź’•đź’•đź’•đź’•đź’•đź’•đź’•đź’•đź’•đź’•đź’•đź’•đź’•
