Old Trunk Makeover to beach look

Got this old trunk on a FB site. It needed some extra TLC and to be safety approved. But turned out awesome. Now a beachy trunk.
This is the before pic posted by the seller. I had a neighbor, who has a wood shop, add 2 wood blocks so the safety hinge would fit, and he made me a new leg piece that was missing and fixed a chunk that was loose. Yay for that because I would not have been able to do that.
Here is the after. This was a layered approach. First Rustoleum wood stain willow. I used a larger brush and lightly applied strokes (wiping on a paper plate first). When that dried I layered the ASCP colors old white and paris gray). I used sand paper to highlight the brown wood by distressing over random areas. 2 coats of AS clear wax.
The inside has AS dark wax for some accents areas. Decorative items from Hobby Lobby.
