Brass lamp painting tips
I would like to paint two polished brass lamps. What type of paint should I use? Also, if you would have any tips for me. I would appreciate it.

I refinished a brass urn using Rust-Oleum Self Etching Primer spray paint according to directions on the can. Then I refinished with a stone textured spray paint finish. It spent the winter outdoors after several feet of snow fell very early last year and I couldn't get to it to remove it...except for the stone texture requiring a bit of spray touch up I was pleasantly surprised at how well it did. Lightly sand to remove any gloss. Wipe off any sanding dust. Use spray paint for metal in several light coats to get the best finish.
