Hi Kaye, yes you can. Clean very well and then sand lightly & apply a primer such as Kilz or Zinsser. The "roughing up" of the surface with sandpaper & then primer will help the paint adhere better. Paint the color of your choice and then apply a clear water-based clear sealer. There are many youtube.com videos to help you learn the process before you tackle the job yourself. Here's a link. Hi Kaye, you sure can! I would recommend a chalk based or mineral based paint for this project! Annie Sloan, Jolie and Dixie Bell are all great brands that will paint over laminate!:)

YOU WILL NEED TO PRIME IT FIRST WITH special primer for laminate! (ESP)
