Can you use wallpaper to decoupage?

I would like to try and decoupage some furniture. I have never done this before but I know I need Mod Podge. Can I use pattered wallpaper to stick on furniture and how do I do this?

Carley: I think it would be difficult to decoupage with wallpaper. It's usually thicker than regular paper. Also, if it's got any vinyl, it would be out of the question.
Wallpaper is fairly thick. If you want to decoupage using Mod Podge you need to use something thin like napkins or tissue paper. Here's a little tutorial to give you an idea of how to do it.

I agree. The paper used for decoupage needs to get saturated with Mod Podge to stick. You can try but you need to make sure the wallpaper gets saturated
