are you wanting to put up something to cover the shelf or to paint the inside of the shelf to make it look nicer? you can use tension rods with curtains or even cloth napkins to cover up
Hi Georgeann, have you though about peel and stick, it comes in a ton of designs, you could use a plain or patterned shower curtain to cover the front. You could hang it using a a tension rod .
Peel & stick or other vinyl flooring is great for this purpose.
