Cutting 2" memory foam?
Does anyone have an idea how to cut memory foam? I have a 2" mattress topper for a queen size bed that I don't need anymore and would like to cut it off to fit a twin.

An electric knife works great, just take your time and let the knife do the work.
I used an electric knife. Keep your knife perpendicular to the foam so your cut isn’t crooked. Avoid pushing down on the foam while you’re cutting since it could deform and make your cut inaccurate. Continue pushing the blade through the foam along the line until you cut through its entire length. When you need to pull the knife blade out of the foam, turn it off before removing it.
You should be able to find an electric knife at second hand stores or borrow one
Serrated bread knife should work. Several passes with a utility razor knife.
An electric knife is a favorite, but you can also use a utility knife.
Use a sharp razor blade, single edge or box cutter for safety. Have someone compress it on the line where you will cut it.
Hello. I used an utility knife cutting one up to use for a thrifted dog bed cover.
Go to thrift store and try and find an electric carving knife set.
we use an electric knife for memory foam and stryofoam products
thank you everyone. You are great!
An electric knife for sure. I do a lot of sewing and every shop I go into to have foam cut by the pros uses a basic electric knife. Good luck!
Use a sharp exacto knife
Exacto knife or carving tool would be my bet.
