Start by putting around the mirror some decals, flowers, plants, etc. If you go to a craft store, Michael's or ACMoore they can help you with some choices. Bring the mirror.
Take off or tape the edge of mirror and repaint! Add shells or whatever to the edge to dress it up a bit. Nice mirror!
How about a feather boa on the frame?
I would look around for pretty decorative stones ( dollar store) and use E6000 glue and frame around the lights and mirror . It would change it up.
