Fixing the cracks on the veneer of my table

Question

The veneer top on my oblong oak table has cracks and is raising up from use.  Can it be fixed?

Veneer repair is often not a very successful DIY project and costly for professioal and not worth it unless a true antique. Check out YouTube videos and ask if it is in your talent levels.  Good news is very nice dining tables at most used furniture stores are abundant and a very good value. (hint; as they take up a large 'real estate' space in the stores, bargain!)
