If you check at your local home imrovement store, there are many options to renovate countertops. One that I've seen done is to use Rustoleum's "Rock Solid" epoxy finish. It dries very shiny and industrial looking and holds up to lots of abuse. The product is available in several colors. I've seen counters done in the grey and also the red. As always, the success depends on the correct prep work.
You can paint them, but it's labor intensive and you have to use the right sealer or it will chip away. I have seen people use contact paper to make them look like granite or marble, too, but there are drawbacks there also. The color can bleed or come off when wiped and wet. You can also tile over them.
You could try these peel and stick covers: https://amzn.to/3Aw47eg
Hi Joy, we put large leftover floor tiles on our counters years ago and they still look great. Just seal the grout between the tiles really well. This article will give you more information - https://www.jlconline.com/how-to/exteriors/q-a-preventing-grout-stains-on-kitchen-counters_o
Paint them you could get a kit from Home Depot to re do them or buy Allinone paint and use that that will stay on them.
Check this out.. We did this to our counters a few years back

Why don't you buy a kit from Giani or Rustoleum and paint your countertops. Diane from in my own style has a great tutorial how to make counters look like marble. https://inmyownstyle.com/painting-kitchen-countertops.html
This looks very doable. Thank you for the suggestion
If you like the look of concrete, you can use a skim coat product which is inexpensive and easy to use.
In this case you can simply paint them, you can visit local home improvement store and look for a kit designed used for painting counters.
You can buy a counter top paint at the hardware store. I know a lot of people have had good results. There are several steps and the last one is a strong sealer.
