I would use Citristrip. You can purchase at Lowe's. Enjoy!

You might do some stenciling..can get some vinyl ones at Hobby Lobby or Michaels then pick a coordinating color paint & use sponge. Have fun..you've got this!..send before & after pics!

Hi... I been using Chalk paint from Walmart for most of my refinished pieces. I recently came across a One-Step Paint by The Plaster Paint Company. It's self leveling, paint and sealant all in one. Goes on super smooth. Lots of great colors too. Plus they have a line of Metallic's. I'm looking for a new piece so i can use the Pearl Metallic. Check it out on-line. I purchase my product thru a small store in Covina, CA - Shabbyology. Good Luck and have fun.

  • Have you heard of Fusion Mineral Paint? It comes in all sorts of neutral colors that aren't white. It goes on REALLY easily.

If you want to continue the wood look, big box diy has veneer in sheets, you apply with rubber cement.

  • I've recently fallen in love with furniture transfers. They're so easy to use and they turn any DIY into a professional looking makeover.
