Is it hard to paint fabric on a chair? Does it turn out well?

I have a small chair in my bedroom that doesn't match anymore. Is it hard to paint fabric? Does it turn out well?

It should not be difficult,just make sure you use the proper fabric paint and medium.What is the material on the chair?
I have painted several fabric chairs with chalk paint. The trick to keeping it from getting stiff is to use 1/2 paint to 1/2 water. Here is one that I painted last year for my daughter:
Chalk paint. Mist the fabric and paint with a 20% paint/80% water mix for the first coat. Let dry, mist and do a 50/50 coat. Let dry. Last coat is done without diluting. Comes out great!
