How can I make over my wardrobe? Its unfashionable!

I have a solid oak wardrobe with wicker inserts the wardrobe is stunning but looks really old, the bedroom it is in gets full sunlight, and yet this wardrobe makes it look old, dark and unfashionable, im not really crafty so i would need alot of info, for eg make of brush or brand of supplies

you could deepen.the stain color by using gel stain, or paint. You can dye the wicker if its unfinished with a foam brush and Rit or analine dyes for a color accent. You could cut out the wicker, and put something new in there.
