The only way I know is to place the tv in a cabinet that has doors that you can close.
You can mount the tv above your fireplace or above your console and put up short sliding barn doors (window size) to cover your TV when not in use. Check out HOUZZ.com they have some inspiration.
You can build a frame on the wall around the screen and put shutters on the frame. Close the shutters when not in use, fold back when you want to watch TV.
