Ideas for a glass tabletop?
I have 3 cats and my glass table top is always dirty, streaky or has catpaw prints. I'm tired of cleaning it 4xday. Tablecloths and cats don't mix either. I need ideas to make it opaque or ???

Need your great ideas for glass blocks
I have seven glass blocks with shapes that I love but I'm lacking any creative ideas. I do not have tools to cut glass, particularly anything with such thick glass.
Hello, you might consider painting the glass on the underside, either with color blocking or a design of your choice. The glass will still get dirty but won't be as noticeble as clear glass. Here's a video about making a glass top look like marlbe. Maybe more involved than you want to do but you get the idea.

You could paint the underside of the glass. It would still be wipeable and the cats shouldnāt be able to scratch the finish off.
Hi Chefsweety, how about putting window film on it? There are so many designs to choose from and it is inexpensive and easy to do,

You can buy a spray paint to etch the glass.
Painting the underside or adhering fabric or the like under it will help. Granted at certain angles the light will still catch the prints.
I would paint it.
I would use a squirt bottle and teach the cats they aren't allowed on the glass table. After a few hits of water they should start to avoid that area.
But if you are tired of the glass look paint it. If you want to add some interest consider applying some sort of stenciling. LIke a sunflower for a modern farmhouse look or a lotus flower for an oriental look.
You could spray paint it and even add a stencil for a pretty design.

you could remove the glass and have a board cut to that size and insert it there you could use reclaimed wood or any wood that matches - you could spray paint the glass top on both sides as well
no matter what you do it will still have kitty prints and need to be cleaned unless you can stop them from getting on the table top
I would take the glass outdoors, clean it thoroughly and spray it with a frosted glass or sea glass spray. Is it possible to teach the cats to stay off of the table?
