Krylon silver metal look spray paint

I used Krylon metal spray paint to paint a lamp and now every time I touch the lamp it marks the silver paint. Any ideas as to why this is doing this?? I primed the lamp before spraying it silver.

i think if u spray some clear coat it will work good and protect the paint

You need to put a rustoleum non-yellowing protective spray coat on your project.

I was going to say the same thing. It probably just needs a clear coat of sealant.
