Painting a leather vinyl chair
I have a chair and the leather vinyl is faded. I want to know if I can paint it to restore the color?

Hi Mel, Is this chair upholstered in a vinyl that mimics leather - what I fondly call "leatherette" or is it faded leather?

Howdy :) Rustoleum makes a spray paint for vinyl. It's sold in auto parts stores and maybe other stores like Walmart. You may want to try the Rustoleum web site for more info. I haven't used it myself so I can't tell you how well it works. Here's a link to the paint. http://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalog/consumer-brands/auto/specialty-paints/fabric-and-vinyl .
