sand it down and stain it in a newer up to date color
I would keep the bottom the same color but the top paint it off white or grey with Anne’s Sloan paint. The table I love it, it’s got a lot of detail.
Glass tile sheets, thousands of colors and styles to choose from. I would glue to a another surface like sheet rock or thin plywood first then secure to the table top.. This way you can always remove or change the color.
