Sharon, I'm not sure what your problem/question is....would you please give us a little more information?
You would have to use some sort of dye in the fabric softener in order to add color or paint something with it. Not sure what you mean.

This recipe for adding fabric softener to paint for cloth upholstery is shared on Pinterest. The objective is to soften the fabric so paint isnt stiff. Still spray with water beforehand. Softener is added to the paint & stirred in. If softener is blue, im not sure if it would taint light paint colors.
