Painting the cabinet part of oak kitchen cupboards w/ white doors

The cabinet part is oak - all the door fronts are white laminate. Can the oak cabinets be painted white to give a more uniform look?

    Yes, they can. There's a product called Rustoleum Cabinet Transformations. I haven't used it personally, but have heard good reviews. There are reviews right here on Hometalk. http://www.hometalk.com/search/posts?filter=Rustoleum%20Cabinet%20Transformations

    I painted my oak cabinets with an alkyd paint from Benjamin Moore... works beautifully!

    Check out Caromal Colours. We use Restore and Textured Base Coat for our cabinets and also do it for others. We love the paint for its ease and endurance! Check it out on the web.
