How to redo a glass table top?
It's just a piece of glass on a bamboo table. I'm tired of cleaning the glass.
Chalk paint adheres well to clean wood and looks great. I would speak to the glass company and tell them it is for a tabletop which is thicker than frame glass.
If this is a true antique, I would not paint it at all. If it really needs refinishing, refinish it back to the original. If you are changing it due to wanting something different in your decor, sell it and get something that is not an antique. Too many good antiques are being ruined by painting them.
Yes it is an antique but a family piece so do not wanting to sell. Do not want a glass top. So chalk paint is better than milk paint? Ay glaze suggestions?
Under no circumstances should an antique be painted. An earlier comment was Right on Point
